On January 31, 2014, Stephen DeNittis of DeNittis Osefchen obtained a $890,000 settlement for a woman severely injured when the car she was driving was hit head on by another car being operated by by a pizza delivery driver. The accident occurred when the pizza delivery driver inadvertently crossed a double yellow line while texting. As a result of the accident, Ms. Richardson of Ocean County, New Jersey sustained severe injuries including double bilateral compound fractures to both arms requiring surgery, fractured sternum, injured knee requiring surgery and numerous other lacerations and abrasions. The boy driver was working for Calloway’s Restaurant also located in Ocean County at the time of the motor vehicle accident. Ms. Richardson claimed negligence against the boy and restaurant for his inattentiveness that caused the accident.
